This sessions combines elements of presentation and lab allowing the audience to learn about the most popular Project Management methodologies, to understand the difference between Methodology and Framework, to hear from AWS Engagement Managers about the proprietary Engagement Delivery Framework (EDF) used in Amazon Web Services – one of the most successful tech companies in the world. Second part of the event is a lab simulating a planning exercise for a project using EDF’s main event – Launch Ready Planning.
After the session students will feel more comfortable with the project management terminology, will be able to identify the best methodology for different types of projects depending on the industry, size, priorities, and will understand how to drive key project events.

* EDF – Amazon-infused framework and its key benefits – 15 min
* Key EDF mechanism – Launch Ready Planning – 10 min
* DEMO – Launch Ready Planning event simulation for the specific project “Enabling AWS CloudFront and required Security measures for the website of Politechnica Wroclawska” – 25 min
* Q&A – 20 min
